Using a calendar for planning and reinforcing color blue
Instructions
- Look at the calendar together and review any special dates - birthdays or events - to put on the calendar for this month
- Select a day this month to have a blue day
- On this day let the child choose blue clothes to wear
- This can be a Family Blue Day with all family members wearing blue
Simplify
Make a circle of blue with washable paint or marker on the back of a child's hand for blue day instead of dressing in blue
Extend
Go all out for blue day - blue hair, blue fingernails, blue face paint
