Creative drawing using the color grey
Instructions
- Let child think of grey animals- elephant, rhinoceros, wolf, squirrel, seal, goose, hippo, pigeon, etc.
- Using a grey shoe polish applicator or a large round grey marker, help child create the outline of the grey animals as they brainstorm on a piece of paper
Extend
Look up a picture of the grey animal for a child to see what the animal looks like. Let them draw their own version of the animal using the grey shoe polish/marker. Scribbling is okay.

There were ten in a bed and the little one said, "Roll over, roll over." So they all rolled over and one fell out. There were nine in the bed and the little one said, "Roll over, roll over." So they all rolled over and one fell out.
There were eight in the bed and the little one said,
“Roll over, roll over.”
So they all rolled over and one fell out.
There were seven in the bed in the bed and the little one said,
“Roll over, roll over.”
So they all rolled over and one fell out.
There were six in the bed and the little one said,
“Roll over, roll over.”
So they all rolled over and one fell out.
There were five in the bed and the little one said,
“Roll over, roll over.”
So they all rolled over and one fell out.
There were four in the bed and the little one said,
“Roll over, roll over.”
So they all rolled over and one fell out.
