K, X, Z
Read the book "Dr. Seuss’s ABC" and learn ABC's while connecting dots
Month 12 · Activity 5 · Letters
Instructions
- Read the book “Dr. Seuss’s ABC”
- Gather a set of alphabet stickers A to Z
- Ask child to put the stickers on a large sheet of paper in mixed up order leaving space in between the stickers
- Ask child to draw a line from letter A to letter B to letter C and all the way through the alphabet
Simplify
Hand alphabet stickers to child in mixed up order to be sure letters are not next to each other. Let child point to the two letters they will be drawing a line between (A to B then B to C then C to D, etc.) before they actually draw the line to make sure they have success. If needed you can make a dotted line between the letters for child to trace over.
Extend
If child is comfortable with matching upper case letters, make another sheet of paper using lower case letter stickers.
