  • Alternate between naming objects above and below your head for 5 turns
  • Name something you see above a tree
  • Name something you see below a tree
  • Look at Activity 10, Month 7 for a soft and hot target word activity

Extend

On a sheet of paper, draw a line across the middle of the paper. The top half of the paper will be "above" the line and the bottom half of the paper will be "below" the line. Ask a child to follow your directions. For example,

  • Make the letter C below the line
  • Draw a circle below the line
  • Make the letter Y above the line
  • Draw a rectangle below the line
  • Make the numeral 4 above the line
  • Make the letter U above the line
