Singing and acting out finger play "There Was A Little Turtle"

Instructions
- Place child in front of mirror so they can see themselves.
- Ask child to recite and do actions to fingerplay “There was a little turtle”
- Encourage child to look at himself in the mirror while doing the actions. You can stand next to child and participate also.
- Play “The Turtle Song" Observe if child learns the words better with a song or a speaking voice.
There was a little turtle who lived in a box.
He swam in the water, he climbed on the rocks.
He snapped at a mosquito, he snapped at a flea, he snapped at a minnow and he snapped at me.
He caught that mosquito, he caught that flea, he caught that minnow, but he didn’t catch me.
