Month 6 · Activity 10 · Senses

- Together cut out a mouth, nose, eye, ear, and hand

- Craft sticks will be used in Month 6 Activity 11
Simplify
Tearing out a picture to use can be easier than using scissors
Extend
When looking for the face pictures, chat about each body part. Here are some examples: Why is it important for a mouth to open? What if your nose only had one nostril, could it still smell? Why is it so important to protect our eyes? Could you think of another place on your body to put your ears? What are the parts of a hand?
QUESTIONS FOR CHILD
Tell me about some of your favorite things to smell.
If your body developed an odor or a bad smell, how would you get rid of the smell?
