Aluminum Foil Molding
Creating aluminum foil shapes and objects
Instructions
- Using aluminum foil, let the child roll the aluminum foil into logs and make into shapes
- Make the letter S and V with aluminum foil and say the sound of each letter
- Encourage the child to make an aluminum foil necklace, ball, animal shapes, star, etc.
- Chat about how the aluminum foil feels as you use your sense of touch
Simplify
Make a variety size of balls with aluminum foil and create snowmen or make different lengths of "snakes" or "worms" with the aluminum foil.

Encourage a child to write their name by creating each of the letters in their name with the aluminum foil. Look closely at the aluminum foil and let the child discover a matte side (dull) and a shiny side.
