Instructions

Name something you see above your head
Name something you see below your head
Alternate between naming objects above and below your head for 5 turns
Name something you see above a tree
Name something you see below a tree

Extend

On a sheet of paper, draw a line across the middle of the paper. The top half of the paper will be "above" the line and the bottom half of the paper will be "below" the line. Ask a child to follow your directions. For example,

Make the letter C below the line
Draw a circle below the line
Make the letter Y above the line
Draw a rectangle below the line
Make the numeral 4 above the line
Make the letter U above the line
