Responsibility

Focus on responsible behavior through conversation and actions

Instructions Printer-Friendly

  • Chat that responsibility also means being in charge of their own actions
  • For example, do they use the bathroom before leaving the house for daycare, errands, or to play; sharing instead of taking someone's toy; etc.
  • Recognize the child for making a responsible choice or acting in a responsible manner

For example, if child removes dirty shoes before entering house; hangs up clothes instead of leaving on floor, places any trash in garbage can; chooses healthy foods; etc.
